P-78 FPSO, PETROBRAS CASTING OFF FROM HHI YARD TO KEPPEL SHIPYARD, SINGAPORE

Hyundai Heavy Industries was in charge of building the FPSO hull(85,000MT),

including living quarters that can accommodate 240 persons.

DB INVOLVEMENT

Pipeline Installation, Testing and Pre-commissioning include Chemical Cleaning, NAS 6 grade oil flushing, Machinery & Equipment Installation Works for the FWD section of the P-78 floating production, storage, and offloading vessel.

The P-78 FPSO forms part of the Búzios field development project offshore Brazil.

It will be the 7th unit to be installed at the Petrobras-operated field in the Santos Basin pre-salt area.

Once operating at the site, the P-78 will be able to process 180,000 barrels per day of oil and 7.2 million cubic meters per day of Natural Gas.
